In less than 100 days donald trump’s actions and decisions have absolutely proven he is an extreme narcissist! The Mayo Clinic describes it as a mental disorder: “narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism. This definition fits donald j. Trump to a T. Lets review some of the instances in which he has displayed this behavior:
• Recently the Commander of the U.S. Space Force base in Greenland, Susannah Myers was fired for comments she made distancing the base from comments made by Vice President j.d. vance. The reason stated was “lack of confidence!
• It has been reported that trump is furious with his portrait in the Colorado State House. He doesn’t like how he looks!
• He has sicked his Justice Department lawyers on former officials in his first administration, to investigate them but has not cited any laws broken. Chris Krebs who oversaw Cybersecurity and Infrastructure in the first administration is being investigated by the Justice Department for his comments that trump said “falsely and baselessly denied that the 2020 election was rigged and stolen.” In another instance, Miles Taylor a former Homeland Security official who, “wrote anonymously that there was “” resistance”” among government officials working to mute the president’s impact.” The President did not cite any specific law broken by either men. According to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jamie Raskin who said, “he’s using every public and private means to try to attack their people, humiliate these people, get them to come and kiss the ring.” The President also said Taylor was guilty of treason!
• He fired several high ranking NSC officials after Laura Loomer, a far-right activist, said they were not loyal! Loomer who trump avoided during the election was that person. He did so only the day after she visited the White House. She said “they were not loyal.”
Those are only a few recent incidents where he exhibits narcissistic tendencies!
In addition to being a narcissist, trump thrives on chaos which was proven in his first administration. He just exhibited it again by throwing stock markets into a total panic. In one day, the Dow lost 2,200 points! Many economists are predicting that the uncertainty of what this administration might do, one day he says one thing and the next day something else, will likely cause a recession. Markets and the economy in general do not like uncertainty. They have not yet come close to recovering those losses. Even the bond market is going down. It seems that investors no longer consider the U.S. to be safe and stable.
My point is that we have an extremely dangerous President and the most unqualified sycophants as his cabinet who do nothing but kiss his ring and maybe lower too, with no desire or ability to pull him back from the brink of disaster. For those of you who say you don’t like trump personally but voted for him because of his “policies,” well think again. His policies will do major and possibly permanent damage to this country. The only hope now is that Republicans in Congress who hold the majority “wake up” and protect the country!
